THE MISSION LITANY

We are the Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church! Our mission is to empower people to live a Christ-centered lifestyle. We believe that God has purposed us to be a hospitable, relational, Bible based, community-focused congregation. At Sixth Mount Zion, we don’t just go to church, we are the church. As the body of Christ, we have been called by God to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, care for the sick, shelter the homeless, and visit the imprisoned.

How will the world know that we are Members of the Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church? We will exhibit the BASICS for people of faith. Members of the Mount:

Believe in God’s Word

Appreciate connections with God’s family

Seek God’s presence
